Our Commitment to Privacy
QuietPulse is designed with privacy at its core. We believe your breathing practice is deeply personal, and we built the app to respect that completely. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Information We Collect
None. QuietPulse does not collect any personal information whatsoever. Specifically:
- No account creation or login required
- No name, email, or contact information collected
- No location or GPS data accessed
- No health data transmitted off your device
- No usage analytics or tracking
- No advertising identifiers
- No cookies or web tracking
Data Storage
All app preferences (selected breathing pattern, session duration, haptic intensity) are stored locally on your device only using iOS UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to us, and is automatically removed if you delete the app.
Third-Party Services
QuietPulse does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data to share.
Apple HealthKit (Future)
A future update may include optional Apple HealthKit integration to log mindful minutes. If implemented, this data will be write-only (QuietPulse will add entries to Health but never read from it), stored entirely within Apple Health on your device, and governed by Apple's strict HealthKit privacy policies. This feature will always be opt-in and require your explicit permission.
Children's Privacy
QuietPulse is safe for users of all ages. Since we collect no personal data from anyone, we are fully compliant with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and similar regulations worldwide.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever update this privacy policy, changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Any significant changes (such as beginning to collect data) would also be communicated through an app update and in-app notification.
